Dragon Rises Center for Wholeness will be hosting a Therapy Group for men with an emphasis on a process-focused exploration of our patterns of connecting or disconnecting from others. All Self-Identifying Men are Welcome.
Meeting will be Live In-Person every Thursday from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Dragon Rises Center for Wholeness 4858B Scholls Ferry Road Portland, Oregon 97225 beginning December 4th, 2025 and will run until March 6th, 2026.
There will be open enrollment for the group until the first week of January so if you’re unable to join us for any of our December meetings, please still inquire!
In our Group Therapy sessions we will explore various topics, including but not limited to:
Exploring How we Communicate with Others
Understanding the feelings of Shame that may cause us to feel isolated.
In this Relational and Non-Judgmental space, members will have the opportunity to be seen and grow alongside each other.
Insurance coverage will be accepted for group sessions or $50/session if cash paying. However, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds so please inquire if you are interested.

Stephen Higgins is a Professional Counselor Associate with over a decade of experience as both a Licensed Acupuncturist and Hakomi-Informed Counselor. He offers mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups remotely and at his clinic in Southwest Portland.
Dakota Parmley is a graduate student intern with a background in depth psychology, Zen Buddhism, and mindfulness-based therapies. He attends Pacifica Graduate Institute and is passionate about helping people get the clarity and transformation they seek.
